Meet the Founder

MAR was founded by Natalie, a First Nations business owner, storyteller, digital creator and advocate for community-led impact.

 

With a background spanning business, media, digital platforms and community engagement, Natalie created MAR to celebrate First Nations people, promote Blak business and create a platform where stories, achievements and community impact can be shared and celebrated.

The Story Behind MAR

MAR is named after my grandmother, who we simply called Mar.

​

Like many families, some of life's most important lessons, memories and connections were shared around conversations with the people who came before us.

​

The name MAR is a tribute to those connections and a reminder of the importance of preserving stories for future generations.
